On the grounds of the hall lies a neolithic burial chamber - a 5,000-year-old sacred site where our ancestors honoured their dead and communed with the spirits of those who had crossed the threshold. Here, we'll conduct a post Calan Mai ceremony (The Welsh Ysprydnos - Spirit Night) to connect with the ancient wisdom held within the stones themselves, allowing the voices of those who came before to guide us in remembering our own soul's purpose.

Cors-y-Gedol Hall is not merely "accommodation", t's a living museum where the very walls pulse with centuries of magical practice. This Elizabethan manor has been home to generations of those who kept alive the bardic and druidic traditions during times when such practices were suppressed.

The grand fireplace that dominates the main lounge rumoured to have warmed the feet of native Welsh princes. The oak-panelled walls in the King's Bedroom hold the memory of Charles II's presence. The library, filled with books both antique and modern, whispers of the clandestine revolutionary meetings of Owain Glyndŵr, whilst secret staircases speak of hidden encounters throughout the centuries.

This is where the medieval bardic and druidic revival found patronage and protection. Where those who understood the old ways used their privilege to gather and ensure the survival of those old ways through the dark days of cultural oppression. The very stones themselves have absorbed centuries of ritual, song, and sacred storytelling.
